Far too often, I'm in my outdated scrivener app with the inklings of ideas.
Many I will tend to till they flower, or feast on my empty garden.
The Project Collection:
Gothic Horror/Dark Fantasy
Ruins, the nickname for my current manuscript, is a gothic fantasy wholly centered on women's rage. It features a murderess who is also a bit of a tyrant, a competition that is only held once every ten years, a serial killer on the loose, our mc’s life constantly at stake, shadows that whisper, and we can’t forget the flirtatious man who may or may not be the culprit. No one is a hero, and everyone is out for blood. This is about ready to start querying and I couldn’t be more excited!
Whimsical Children's Lit
I have a lot of different types of children's lit itching to be told. Whimsy, gothic, happy, sad, bubbly, scary, soothing, creepy. I try to write these in between my larger manuscripts when I get the chance. One of my next dalliances is with a little girl who has to find her voice.
The Small Ones that Live in My Bones
Short stories are what I reach for when I cannot for the life of me think of filling in the middle of scenes with fluff that isn't actually fluff. Currently I'm writing one about a stalker who has no idea what he's gotten himself into. I'm also writing one about a girl picked to bits and the aftermath she's wrought.
